Shoulder Pads Slightly S-Shaped and tapered, these shoulder pads are made of 3/8 inch high-density foam, laminated with Drylex, a hydrophillic fabric which wicks away moisture from the body. Dimensions are roughly 17 inches long, two and a half inches wide over the shoulder, tapering to two inches wide under the armpit. A cross sternum strap keeps the pads from coming off the shoulders and adjusts vertically for comfort on men or women Suspenders The suspenders are made of one inch nylon webbing, which treads through two tension lock buckles on the top back of the pack. The front attachent is by side release buckles at points where the waist belt attaches to the main compartment. The suspenders and shoulder pads may be removed and stored inside the pack.
